Another Iowa Visit

We headed east again last weekend for a great time with family. When we arrived, Aunt Jodi played with Kailey outside.

Then the other kids came!

We headed to the pool to do some swimming. The kids liked to be thrown up in the air!

On Sunday we went to a pumpkin patch. Kailey had a great time! Her favorite thing was the straw maze...

(I think she liked being able to run around wherever she wanted without me stopping her!)

Iowa Visit

We visited Brent and Holly's new place this weekend and they gave us a tour of where Brent's new job is and ISU. Grandma and Grandpa P also visited. We enjoyed seeing everyone and being one of Brent and Holly's first visitors!

Counting to Ten

Kailey has been able to count to ten for a few weeks now, but I finally got it on video this weekend thanks to Grandpa and Elmo! She did it several times - here's one...

Happenings

We had a few eventful things last week.......


My co-worker, Penny, moved to Arizona, so I went to a going-away party for her




Saturday some of my family met here to hang out and eat an early supper...





Then Dad, Troy, Danny (Troy's brother in law) and I went to the Husker Game!! It was fun even though we got beat pretty bad.




Craig and I are under the weather today and praying Kailey doesn't get it.

Whirlwind Weekend - Saturday

Saturday we had a big day! It was homecoming at Craig's alma mater, and every year he and his group of friends get together for the weekend. It started out with 5 couples, and now it's 5 couples plus 9 kids and a bunch of other fun people that drop by. Of the 9 kids, there is one 4 year old, three 2 year olds, two 1 year olds, and three infants.

Craig and Rebecca headed to NWC early to get in on the 5K race. Troy and I packed up the three kids and came mid-morning. The van was pretty full!






The college hosts a carnival and the kids had a good time. Kailey especially loved the petting zoo.

Can you believe that all 9 kids got naps?? Pretty amazing. After that we headed to the park just one block away. Kailey had her first merry-go-round ride!
