First Haircut

Last weekend Kailey had her first haircut! My cousin Amy owns a salon in Stanton, so actually all three of us got haircuts. Our plan was that Craig would go first and I would make a big deal about it and take his picture, but Kailey wanted to go first! It worked out much better than I had imagined.

This week our friend Grace came to play twice! The second time she spent the night while her baby sister was born. We were all very excited and got all cleaned up to go see the little baby. (I was too busy looking at the baby and didn't get pictures!)

Not Much News

Kailey has been under the weather off and on for the last two weeks. I finally took her in on Monday and got a prescription. It's her first one ever, and she thinks it's quite tasty! Here are just a few recent photos.

Kailey got a Christmas present - princess jammies and a turtle toy that plays music! These jammies came just in time, because Kailey has started taking off her pajamas (and diaper) at night. For some reason she keeps these on.

Although she's been sick, Kailey never has a problem telling us what to do! She told Craig to "lay back", then brought a book for him to read to her. Too sweet.

Yesterday Kailey woke up from her nap and found a gold mine - TWO binkies.

Christmas Part 2

OK, I'm finally getting around to this!

We went from the Paulsens straight to the Brunings for some family time. We opened gifts Christmas morning. We all had fun, but the girls especially had fun! Kailey again had to "help" people open their gifts.

Enjoying her new "Rock and Roll" toy - it even fits two little girls!

Jodi made Mom and Dad a photo calendar

We all played Guesstures and laughed a lot! The girls wanted to take a turn, so we did a reverse game - we yelled out things for them to act out. It was funny! (I might upload video later...it takes me awhile to do it)

Happy Birthday Jesus!

We spent Friday evening with the extended Bruning family. Here are all the nearby great-grandkids. Six more live in Florida. Kailey was really hamming it up that night - again, video to come. I don't quite know what got into her, but it was hysterical!

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS!!!!
