Memorial Day Weekend - The Big Project

Well our house looks different! Craig spent many hours today working on a landscaping project. So far the walls are done, so the next project will be planting. Our neighbor with the perfectly groomed yard and landscaping commented that "it looks professional!" Way to go, Honey!

Memorial Day Weekend - Fun Times!

Besides "The Big Project," we had some other things to do this weekend.

Friday Kailey had a runny nose, so we "chilled" on the couch for a video. She looked pretty comfy!

And Grandpa came for a visit! We had fun playing with cousins, too, but I forgot my camera...

Today we played at the playground before naptime while Daddy started on the landscaping. Kailey was pretty interested in the sand this time - look out!

The weather was absolutely perfect this weekend. Friday and Sunday we went to the state recreation area nearby and walked.

We also sat on the deck for awhile enjoying the fresh air!

Kailey's New Friend

My dear friend Deneen was here for a visit for a couple of days. She quickly became Kailey's new favorite person. Kailey wanted to be right next to Deneen while she was getting ready in the morning, packing her suitcase, and eating breakfast. Deneen was a good sport and they had some good laughs (and we did, too)!

This is Kailey's new favorite passtime, next to books. Craig came up with a way to pull her around in the laundry baskets. Every time they pass her toy area, she puts a new toy in the basket with her!

Grandma P. came to stay with Kailey for a couple of days while I was out of town. I think they had fun!

I found some new spring and summer jammies for Kailey. She looks so cute in them! Here she is reading her own bedtime story.

Kailey loves to walk all over the deck. She looks "free"!
