Happy Easter

We've had a fun Easter weekend with some of Lindsay's family. We spent some time hanging out at our house and some time with extended family nearby. And Kailey took her first steps! She needs lots of coaxing, so now we'll work on her confidence.

Saturday's lunch - we broke into the "He Is Risen" salad a day early!

We spent the evening with more family. There were seven kids under 10 years old, so it was a wild time. Kailey had so much fun playing with the bigger kids. This is the biggest playhouse I've ever seen!

Kailey can carry practically anything in her mouth. It took a little practice for Grandpa to get as good as Kailey at this little trick!

Birthdays!

Craig and Diane celebrated birthdays just days apart, so last weekend we celebrated by going out to eat with family. We went to a Japanese restaraunt where they grill the food right in front of you. It was fun and very tasty!

The gang at the restaraunt...yummy!

We went to Diane's after supper, and her pet rat was a favorite of Kailey's. Poor little guy was hiding from her after awhile. She kept barking at it!

Enjoying the Weather

We were blessed with three or four really nice days this week. I was home for two of them, so we did some fun things.

Tuesday I took Kailey to the zoo. Wow was it a great day for that! By the time we left we weren't even wearing jackets.

Kailey can "woof woof" like a dog, but she thinks all animals make that sound. So in this picture she is barking at the gorillas!

Yesterday was Craig's 30th birthday, so we met him for lunch at his office

Then last evening Kailey and I headed for the park

She loved the park and the ride there in her wagon!

Princess of Destruction

I took these a couple of weeks ago. When we built our house, we had the option to upgrade to finished caps on our windowsills instead of just drywall. Maybe we should have upgraded! This girl has sharp teeth.

I was changing Kailey's diaper, and she was talking and I saw something on the roof of her mouth. It was a sticker! So we have removed loose stickers from toys. She's sneaky!
