Stanton Homecoming 2010

We had a great time at the Staton Homecoming. Kailey enjoyed the activities at Anderson Park and we enjoyed connecting up with friends and family.

Staton Class of 1995 celebrating their 15 year class reunion.

Kailey loved the tire swing at the class reunion!

Adventures with Kailey

Kailey had fun riding horses and playing with the kitties at Grandma Becky and Brads with her cousins. She is getting so big.

Lindsay and Kailey also stopped by the fair earlier this month to see Grandma Becky. Kailey loved all the rides.

Parks are Fun!

Daddy took his girls out on a date before the 4th of July fireworks and we enjoyed our first meal at Red Robin...we loved it and will be back again. We then headed to a near by park and enjoyed looking at all the ducks and geese.

We have also been enjoying our state park pass and last weekend Diane and Philipe joined us for a picnic and a hike. We had a great time and Kailey loved feeding the geese. As you can see, they got a little too close for comfort!

We saw a deer walking along the road.

The soon to be wedded couple!

Father's Day II

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
to my hubby and our fathers!
Last night Kailey and Daddy fixed the door to her new playhouse. They worked pretty well together!

Today we headed to Des Moines to my sister's house. It was a nice day to hang out outside. Kailey helped Grandpa open his gifts (actually, she let him help a little)!

Kailey LOVES this "stage" - always has!

Me and my Dad!

And these two awesome people....they have such a special bond. Craig can make Kailey (and me) laugh like no one else. She looks forward to their 'dates' and other time they can spend together. We love you, Daddy!

Father's Day

Saturday the ladies went dress shopping for Diane's wedding and then we had a cookout at our place to celebrate Father's Day with Grandpa P. Sophia and Kailey had a ball playing together. Below are some pictures. We will have to put some of Grandma's pictures of Kailey trying on flower girl dresses...our camera battery ran out!

Sand, Slides and Sun!

We headed downtown Sunday afternoon and enjoyed looking at all the sand sculptors at the Sand in the City event put on by Nebraska Children's Home Society.

We then headed to a park and had a picnic under a shade tree.

Then off to feed the ducks.

Kailey running. She ran, and ran and ran all day it seemed!

We then headed to some cool slides downtown. They went pretty fast!

Then onto some nearby water fountains. She had to get right up to the edge!

We had a blast and were reminded once again that we love our city and we love our family!!
