Christmas Fun!

We had a great Christmas this year and enjoyed spending time with family. We are so blessed to have such loving family.

Christmas at Union Station

We enjoyed the Chrismas tree lighting and kids crafts at Union Station. Kailey even got to see Santa. She was not too sure at first but warmed up while waiting in line and seeing all the other kids talking to Santa. Afterwards Daddy took his girls on a date to Spaghetti Works. It was a fun way to kick-start the Christmas season.

Celebrating 7 Years!

We celebrated our 7th anniversary on November 1st and enjoyed continuing our tradition of getting away for a night to Nebraska City the following weekend. Had a great hike at Waubonsie State Park and enjoyed our stay at the Lied Lodge in Nebraska City. We are so thankful for one another and cannot believe how time is flying. We love our family and thank God for his many blessings.

The Princess

Kailey loved wearing her flower girl dress so much that we thought it would be fitting for her to be a princess this year for Halloween. She had a fun time going around the neighborhood and collecting candy. She was very polite and would tell Mommy and Daddy when she was coming back from a house "that was so nice." Of course...the candy has been the biggest hit!

Des Moines Half Marathon

Craig competed in his 2nd half marathon and ran a personal best of 1:40:29. Lindsay and Kailey cheared Daddy on along the way as well as other family and friends.

Diane and Philipe's Wedding

We had a great time celebrating Diane and Philipe's wedding on October 2nd. Kailey loved being the flower girl/princess and it was so good to see so many family and friends. It was a beautiful wedding and reception and we had lots of fun. Congratulations Diane and Philipe! We love you!!
